Surveys
Type One: Location and assessment survey (presumptive survey)
Type Two: Standard sampling, identification and assessment survey (sampling survey)
Type Three: Full access sampling and identification survey (pre-demolition / major refurbishment survey).
Project Management
- Assessment of the remedial work required within the areas highlighted within the asbestos survey report and the best time for the work to be carried out.
- Escorting approved contractors around the site to view the required works, thus facilitating greater accuracy within the tender stage and less extras onto the contract.
- Production of client specific tender documents for contractors and analysts.
- Checking all contractor paperwork including licence, insurances, ASB5, method statements, risk assessments, training records, medical records and equipment records.
- Assessment of the sampling regime required for the contract, taking into account the location of the works and the risk to people within/close to the area.
- Onsite audits of contractors and analysts.
- Production of a final contract file (hard copy and electronic) including all relevant paperwork.
- Up-dating of the asbestos register and plans, following the remedial works.
- Labelling of asbestos containing products highlighted within an asbestos survey.
Sampling Exercise
- Visit to the site to sample single/multiple areas dependent on the clients needs.
- 24 hour service available.
Re-inspection
- Annual re-inspection of the site required within the management actions from the original survey report.
- Up-dating of original information including re-assessment of risk/priority.
Consultancy
- Production of corporate asbestos management plans.
- Desktop studies of existing information to check for compliancy regulations.
- Investigations following an uncontrolled asbestos exposure, to determine the risk involved, procedures to be carried out and the breakdown in procedures leading to the incident.
Rapid Response
- Senior personnel with a vast knowledge of the industry will provide a rapid response to an asbestos incident.
- Isolation of the area deemed appropriate.
- Liason with independent contractors to organise remedial work.
- Accident investigation, including assessment as to whether the incident is reportable under "RIDDOR".
